Typically, the generation of a 3D feature consists of two steps:
|(a) Generate the feature bodies, and|
|(b) Merge the feature bodies with the model via Boolean operations.|
You can apply five different Boolean operations to the 3D Features:
Slices bodies into multiple pieces. Active bodies in the Slice operation will be automatically frozen. This option is available when at least one body is present in the model.
In this tutorial you will learn how to use Slice Material tool in ANSYS DesignModeler. This tool is widely used in 3D to create several bodies.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to simulate a Heatsink using Ansys Fluent. In this first video, you will see how to create the geometry and the mesh using DesignModeler, Ansys Meshing and Ansys Fluent.
A tetradecahedron is a polyhedron with 14 faces. There are numerous topologically distinct forms of a tetradecahedron, with many constructible entirely with regular polygon faces.
Autodesk Inventor is a comprehensive and flexible set of software for 3D mechanical design, simulation, tooling creation, and design communication.
By default, System Coupling’s beta features are not activated. When beta features are activated, the corresponding settings are added to the data model and are available for use.
