OpenFOAM Tutorial | Allclean & Allrun Sripts

Written by cfd.ninja
Every OpenFOAM tutorial ships with two shell scripts, and they are the part most worth copying into your own cases. Allrun executes the full sequence, from meshing to solving to post-processing, and Allclean returns the case to its initial state.
The value is reproducibility. A case you can run with one command is a case you can hand to a colleague, repeat six months later, or drop into a loop for a parametric study. Reproducing a run from memory is how results quietly stop matching.
Both scripts rely on the RunFunctions file that OpenFOAM provides, which supplies helpers such as runApplication and runParallel. Those take care of logging each step to its own file, so when something fails you know exactly which stage broke.

Script Allclean.sh cleans the test case directory by deleting all files generated by makeMesh.sh and runCalculation.sh scripts
Script Allrun execute several commands. It include mesh generation and calculation.
Both Scripts are located in the Main Folder of OpenFOAM tutorial.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to use Allclean and Allrun Scripts in OpenFOAM.
